  Another fantastic evening
As soon as we booked a trip to PDC the first thought was to book a food tour with Chris after we had such a great time in puerto Morelos a year and a half ago. Truth is we enjoy chris' company just as much as the tour. It was like meeting an old friend he is simply a pleasure to be around and share stories and experiences with. If you love food and learning a bit about local life whilst spending time with a wonderful person then don't hesitate! Anyone who loves their doggo as much as we do is a winner! Chris was an excellent guide on this tour. He’s an expert on the food, history and culture of the Yucatán and took us on a tour of Mexico without leaving Puerto Morales.   Amazing experience
One of the best and authentic experiences I have had in Mexico! Cris was an amazing guide! He was so friendly and welcoming but also very knowledgeable of the food as well as the history of food in Mexico. I learned so much from him! The people were so friendly and welcoming at every place we ate at. You can tell Cris has a great connection with them. And of course the food was unique and delicious!!   Great Food Experience
Chris, you were engaging, knowledgeable, and very organized! We’ve been on food tours before both in the states & Europe, and wasn’t sure what to expect in Mexico (a favorite of ours), and you went way beyond expectations!! We loved the way you based each part of the tour on history to the area. You made it fun! Thank you for your attention to detail.   You won’t be disappointed

  A Delicious Taste of Mexican Culture!
An amazing look into the culinary wonders of Puerto Morelos! There was so much variation in the types of foods we tried and all of it was so delicious! Our guide Chris was exceptionally knowledgeable about not only the foods we were tasting but also the culture and history of the region! An amazing day spent and would definitely re-book!

17:30 PM: Meeting Point

The meeting point at the corner of 30th Av. And Constituyentes Av.

This is a well-known and safe place.
Please let us know from where you are coming from (Cancún, Playa del Carmen or Tulum) so we can look out for you as you either disembark from a bus or drive in with a car.

17:40 PM – 18:40 PM: Tamales & Quesadillas.

Tamales, our Pre-Hispanic bread, are very popular in the local area. Great dish for dinner, we will find chicken with tomatillo, mole or vegetarian version with cheese and jalapeños. the quesadillas are the best in town, handmade tortillas, oaxaca cheese and different dishes are the best combination.

18:40 PM – 19:10 PM: Natural fruits made popsicles and Pescadillas

Do you know about quesadillas? Tortillas filled with melted cheese, well, pescadillas are tortillas filled with a delicious fish, shrimp, octopus, crab and served with fresh guacamole and a beer. What else to have a great food?

Next stop is a hidden spot, where is great to drink agua fresca such as horchata and jamaica or maybe you wanna taste a popular mango con chile popsicle!

19:10 PM – 19:30 PM: Someone said pastor tacos?

When the sun is going down Playa del Carmen starts to feel and seem more alive, people walking by having a great time, it is a perfect time to stop by a local taqueria to taste Pastor Tacos, these are one of the most popular dishes in Mexico and you will find the best ones here. Traditionally Pork is marinated with annatto or achiote, one of the famous flavors of the Mayan region. Then is cooked in El Trompo, a Middle Eastern cooking method. Are you ready for another authentic Mexican experience.

19:30 PM - 20:00 PM: End Of Tour

This is where we say good bye. You can spend the rest of the night walking on streets of Playa, or make your way back to your hotel. We are happy to help to make arrangements for taxis or call our friends if you want to spend the next few hours wandering and doing some shopping in the hand craft stores and please don´t forget your gift that our guide has for you!
